1. To promote the sport and past time of motoring in all its branches and in particular to further the interests of owners and drivers of MG cars.

 2. To promote, organise and hold motor race meetings, competitions, motorkhanas, reliability trials, supersprints, lap dashes, speed hillclimbs and other similar events, whether athletic, motoring or otherwise.
 
3. To extend to owners and drivers of MG Cars and other vehicles approved by the committee for the time being, and their friends, and all persons interested in motoring sport, the hospitality, privileges and convenience enjoyed in connection with the club.

4. To foster the restoration, maintenance and use of MG cars.
